What stocking JOVI involves
Who we open accounts for
We supply independent art and craft shops, bookstores, toy and hobby retailers, education suppliers and stationery chains across Malaysia. We also work with art studios and enrichment centres that resell materials to their own students. You do not need to be a large account to open one — a single well-run shop in the right catchment is more valuable to us than volume through a channel that will not merchandise the brand properly.
Margin and price protection
JOVI operates a minimum advertised price policy in Malaysia, enforced across marketplaces as well as physical retail. That matters because the failure mode for an imported art brand here is a race to the bottom on Shopee that destroys the margin for everyone stocking it. Our own marketplace listings sit at RRP; we do not undercut our stockists. Trade pricing and volume tiers are shared once an account is opened.
Marketing and merchandising support
Stockists receive point-of-sale material, product photography and copy cleared for use on your own listings, and shelf-ready information on what each product is for — the single biggest driver of sell-through for modelling materials is a customer understanding the difference between clay that hardens and plastilina that does not. We run brand-level campaigns around Back to School, Hari Raya, Deepavali and the 9.9 / 11.11 / 12.12 marketplace events, and stockists are included in the store-locator traffic those campaigns generate.
Stock and lead times
Inventory is held in Shah Alam, so replenishment is measured in days rather than the months an order from Spain would take. Confirmed trade orders dispatch within one to two working days. We recommend holding the three air dry clay colours and at least the Classic 6 and 10-bar plastilina packs as a core range, adding Neon, Pastel and the modelling tool sets once you see which way your customers lean.
What to send us
Tell us your business name and SSM registration, where you trade — physical, online or both — and which categories you already carry. If you sell online, include your storefront link. We will come back within one working day with trade terms, an opening order recommendation and, where it is useful, samples. Schools and education departments buying for their own use should use school bulk pricing instead, and general enquiries can go through the contact page.
