Art materials are hard to judge from a product photograph — how soft the clay is out of the pack, whether it cracks, how it takes paint, whether a child of a particular age can actually work it — and other buyers describing their own experience answers those questions better than we can.

What buyers consistently mention

The recurring themes across our reviews are that the clay is softer and easier for small hands to knead than local alternatives, that it dries without an oven, and that it does not leave the oily residue associated with cheaper modelling compounds. The most common criticism is drying time: buyers expecting the 24 hours printed on the pack find that thicker pieces in Malaysian humidity take considerably longer.
